New project: build a character
so I get a chance to be creative and go wild, knowing me I'll probably balls it up and do summit shite. I've already done 90's grunge, which is mega cool and so in at the moment it's ridiculous. For this I am clearly fashion forward - yeah right!
Ideas for characters:
His name is Vincent he is a glam rock super star who lives in a hotel room, lives his life in glitter, make-up and skin-tight clothes, is overly feminine for a straight man but super cool for it. Not afraid to sing out-loud. He has his ears pierced and wears ridiculous but such cool earrings. He doesn't wear any underwear with his super tight trousers/jeans.Black is his favourite colour. He's quite shallow but once you get to know him he opens a whole new world up to you. Life in glitter and make-up doesn't have to just be for drag-queens! All he eats are french fries occasionally with tomato sauce. He drinks alot of alcohol-vodka and beer (and maybe sneaks in the cheeky baileys. He's a secret smoker. He is stuck in a phase of having one night stands with girls he doesn't give a shit about. His family have stopped talking to him- his dad's a devout christian and his mum's a wife under the thumb, he has a brother called derek - he's a button down, work-aholic type, in a monotonous job involving computers and paper work - yawn. His favourite film is Halloween, his real favourite film is desperately seeking susan. His favourite band is motley crue - as he clearly sees his life as parallel to any one of theirs(yeah right). He has his own band which him and 3 other glitter donning guys started 7 years ago in his best friend stevie's basement. Stevies the drummer and his basement lent itself for convenience. Vincent is the lead guitarist and he's pretty damn good. Nigel is the bassist and 'Screaming' Sammy is the singer. The band hit it big time two years ago when they were signed to Sony records and they've released two albums so far. They stand out because they're one of the few high profile glam rock bands of the 20th century. And Vincent never ceases to mention this. He lives breaths and eats this band. He is the life and soul- the song writer and dream weaver.
OK that's one character slightly padded out - I just need four more for monday - I need sleep now - MOD photoshoot tomorrow! Watch this space.
